do you live in a high humidity area or not? For me, it's one more tool in the bag to do it "right" relative to my changing environment.
in winter i cut and hang entire plants or at least full sections of the plants for easy hanging between forks... very dry (and a bit cooler) inside my house due to furnace running. I want to slow the process down as much as possible.
in the summer i like to use mesh racks and cut down to similar sized buds or similar total mass if smaller buds together. I get 80-100RH and fair amount of heat, so it's quite wet.

It is really up to you and what space you have. I hang upside down...whole plant with just the leaves within buds. I believe it dries better that way, slower. I do believe if I cut it up my harvest would suffer by drying to quick...destroying terpenes.... But thats me.....

Flowering temperature and light strength?The strain I'm growing can get hues of purple and blue if temps low.
I don't have a AC just fresh air in. If I drop the light % 100% - 75% my temp drops from 77 to 71.
last week before harvest is it best to keep lights full or drop them and get those girls changing colours?
