Should I wait until the roots emerge from the bottom of my net pot before adding nutrients? 5 gallon DWC, started germination on 1/1. Shes been sitting in dwc with just water for 2 days. Planning to use dynagro grow at 1/4 recommended dosage to start.

Did you rinse and soak your Peat Moss.. Peat Moss is not a good medium for hydroponics as it lowers the PH of your water to sub 6 levels.. I start feeding my seedlings approx. 1- 1.5 weeks into the grow. and using 1/4 recommended sounds like a good idea.. She how she grows.. Good luck.

I use rapid rooter cubes btw and have had great success. Peat, like Harbinger said, is a bit of a pain.

Begin nutes sometime in between the second and third week. You can use Silica and beneficials like Hydroguard beforehand, but no NPK nutes. Side note: you have some twisted beginning growth. In my experience, this has been from letting the cubes get too wet. This puts your root system off to a bad start. You also have a trileaf mutation, which for me resulted in a huge final plant. Check my finished diary as I specifically followed one of these plants. I would start over honestly, but it would be a shame to throw out that little weirdo.
