Should you let photos veg a certain amount of time? or switch to flower when she is about half the size yu want considering it will double in flower? If it reaches a good size in 4or 5 weeks is that long enough in veg?

You have a good handle on it. They double in size from one phase to the next generally. Sativas can even triple so its important to know what your strain will do. A website seedbank.eu (I believe, maybe seedbanks.eu) has good info and will usually tell you what to expect for a stretch. Most growers flip at around 4 weeks. This is a completely reasonable time frame. Training will draw the veg time out and if you have lots of space and strong lighting, you might wait even longer. Good luck!

You can veg as long as like with photos, or as long as they let you. I like photoperiods for that trait, gunna try autos in my next grow. Prefer photos for the you're more in control feeling 👊👍👌

Hi! It’s really up to you! Some folks do 12/12 for the whole cycle! I’ve vegged for as little as 4 weeks, but for yield, the general rule of thumb is veg as long as flower—- so if the breeder says 8-10 weeks, veg for 8 weeks and expect flower to be as least as long! ✌️🏻💚🌿
