Hey, I think it's a question we all have :)
But yeah, 18/6 is also for those who use 20/4
but I think 18/6 is really the most suitable.

18-6. All forums would agree. Autos are gonna flower no matter what as we know so why not get the plants to drinks and up take nutrients more often. Sure you might see the tricomes pack on at 12-12 but you’ll see the same at 18-6 and bigger buds. Some people even shift to 14-10 toward the end for longer dark periods for tricomes and terpene production

18/6 or 20/4 - good breeders will generally specify the best light cycles for their plants i.e. RQS say 18/6 for most of their autos, FastBuds 18/6 or 20/4 depending on strain, although Mephisto grow guide says 24hrs a day.
Dark periods for autos are debated whether they are useful or not, some swear by 24/0 and some hate 24/0 cycles.
Definitely 18/6 for a minimum for autos though!

Is power-usage data a reliable way to monitor the condition of a HPS light globe?Noticed a fading trend on the 600 Hps power graph. The highest usage the globe was new, the usage since lessens a small amount most days.
Is that a reliable method to monitor the condition of a light globe? Is the gradually-reducing power usage due to globe degrading?
