What makes this happen?

What makes this happen? A drop that looks like trichomes glued together as if they were a super trichome. I only realized when I cut it and turned it over, I thought it was water, but it didn't run!! When I touched it, it felt like honey. #1 photo is the plant, others after cut.

Guttation is a process that occurs when plants take in too much water from the soil and can't evaporate it through their stomata. This causes water pressure to force sap out of the leaf's edges or tip, making it look like the leaf is wearing a tiara. Perspiration is the process of releasing sweat from sweat glands in the skin. It's also known as sweating. Plants "sweat" through a process called transpiration. Transpiration is the process by which water evaporates from plant leaves, cooling the plant and the surrounding air. Transpiration by day via photosynthesis. Respiration by night via cellular respiration. Both require exhalation through stomata. Gas exchange is crippled for one reason or causing guttation.
