Ideally you have nice intense light for both in order to maximise yield.
If you have lower than ideal light level for veg, the plant will grow slower and more lanky.
If you have lower than ideal light level for flowering, you will have less potent buds

Hi Mate,
More important would be the correct spectrum and the intensity of the photons your light emitts. I see you r using MH, so you're good to go...
