There's really no reason to believe it works. In theory, shocking the roots is supposed to force her to push everything shes got into flower. I think it's more likely that she puts all of her energy into not dying.
Either way, we have no real evidence one way or the other, but this never seemed to add up for me.

2nd Run Off Photoperoid Indoor → Outdoor TransitionThinking of planting this outside after harvest...
1) chop just the cola branches, leave all lower nodes/branches
2) reveg the plant to regrow leaves/branches from lower nodes
2.5) transplant outside once ready
3) harvest the plant a 2nd time.
