Hi there, Could someone please tell me what could be the best HPS light and fan set up for a 4x8x5 (feet) grow tent, wattage, CFM rating etc, I would like as many pots as possible. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Yes height is 5 foot, what about during veg? MH bulbs? Cheers

2 x 400w hps lights will cover a 4x8 perfect. You can push it to 2 x 600w lights but its extra costs and heat that isn't necessary. As for a fan. I'd go with an 8 inch if you plan on running hps's. Expect a hot room so you'll need the extra air

Look at hps cool tubes, rvk extractor fan, variac controller (only one I've used so only one I can recommend), is the 4(w)x8(L)x5(H)?

Autoflower light schedule Soon rolling into veg for my first auto grow. Currently on an 18/6 light schedule using Mars Hyrdo II 700w . Don’t have any problems with temp/humidity inside tent. Once you notice the buds starting to flower do you switch to 12/12 or just keep plugging away with 18/6?

Which height for my phase (veg/starting to grow) with MarsHydro TS600 What's the best height for veg with the Marshydro TS600 led? At start it was at 65cm (25.59055") and now I set it at 45cm (18"). Is it too close?

Temp tent issue Nice! Thanks guys for the quick help! I’m also kinda sort of having a temp issue, I’m trying to make it the best I can, I’m way down south and the temp reads 86-88 a lot. If I blast the fans and humidifier it does get down but I’m worried about the electric bill going up.

AC/humidifier So I did get a humidifier/AC. Super cheap, $40. It seems to work. I’ve gotten it at 79-82 degrees and 45-50% humidity. I just have to keep filling the water part up every couple hours but I work from home in my room where it’s in my closet

Does anyone have experience with colas that have been severely light deprived, yet still have trichs?My ghost nug grew up on the side of the tent blocked from light. She has trichs, looks super light yellow (see pics). My question is, wouldn't this be desirable? Less chlorophyll to wait on before smoking? Has anyone tried to maybe light deprive parts of their colas?

Carbon filter / ideal size for my tent.Hi all need info regarding carbon filters. My tents height 200cm , width is 120cm. Have tried to work out but no look. I have 4 plants in it. I need advice on which size to go for. I have tried to calculate myself but no joy. I am advised to get 6" but not sure ?? Thank you

Can you make an Auto flower by changing the light schedule?Ok, before everyone jumps on this with the obvious answer - I understand that you don’t NEED to change the lighting for an auto to flower, but my question is can you, if you wanted to, flip an auto to flower by changing the light schedule to 12/12?

4” filter upgrade help! Smell Hey guys, I’m wondering what is a good recommended 4” filter for my tent? I got one that came with a fan, ducting and the filter off eBay but the filter is the shits. I had it vented in the room but the smell was brutal. It’s vented out the window under my deck, reeks there now.

Pre run test showing high temp and low humidity,Hello,I have pre run to test the temps and humidity on my first one ,i run a 600w hps in a 1x1x2 tent with 5 inch rvksileo extract my temps at at 35c and my humidity below 30 despite setting for 55% would a test without a plant be false ? If I move 3wk old S.Diesel & Critical from 18hrs💡indoors to outdoors where they'll get +/-11hrs direct🌞. Is there still a risk of them going into flower even though they're still babies? I really don't want this to happen. They'll be in the woods so no chance to add extra light
