When should I switch on the other half of my LED light setup?

Hi guys, I grow 6 plants in hydroponics in a 4x4 grow box and they are 2-3 weeks old (about 7-8 cm tall). I use MarsHydro TS 3000 LED (450W) which have 2 seperate LED panels. Right now I run only one panel and would like to know when I should turn on the other panel. THX

When you see the first set of true leafs ( 5-7-9 tips) turn it on. Also if using the topping method that would be also time to pinch. If a couple weeks old should be close to that time.

Light intensityMy plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.

Distance from bulb or from reflector?I found content about the distance from grow lights to the plants. I Know that using a 250w MH bulb the distance should be in a range from 20cm to 30cm. Too little lightI have now tried removing the WPM by smiering 40/60 milk/water on the affected areas. Deep inside the canopy aswell since little to no airflow passes here due to the plant being so deep in the pot. And apart from that the plant recieves 8 hours of light and I cant install a LED.4 years ago
