Unfortunately this plant is a genetic mutant and will probably cause weird problems throughout its entire life. These things occur once in a while, as there are no guarantees each and every seed will be perfect. If it was the last seed in the world, I would say do everything you can to keep it going, but as it is now, in my experience, I would plant a new seed and cull this one - generally they grow weird and flower weird too. You could keep it as an experiment, however if you are going to spend all your time, effort and money on growing, you are better off growing plants that do not have genetic problems.
