But it only occurred with those who received a slightly too high dose of molasses per ml of water yesterday. Those who did not get this dose have no problems. So it can't be the PH value? they all get the same water. And for 5 weeks we have been using the same water without any problems

For me, I usually see the brown tips/margins with a PH swing, and it comes on fast. What is the PH of your medium, and what is the PH of your water? For soil it should be around 6.5, for Coco, 6.0-6.2, and for hydro 5.8ph ish.
