Scrog Flowering Flip

When using a scrog net, when is the ideal time to flip to flower? Should I flip as soon as they reach the net and even them out during stretch, or should I fill into the net for a couple of weeks before flipping? I have some runts that are just below the net. Thanks

That is totally up to you my friend. By judging your plants are still young and it's common practice to at least wait until the plant is two months from seed, for two reasons. The first being that your plant will by that time be fully mature enough to flower. You will see this as the nodes transform from growing side by side. Too becoming more like a staircase. With one node on the left and then a second just above that inter node margin. The second and more obvious reason is by waiting two months from seed. You can take clones from those plants and place them in a second grow tent or room. Just make sure they have the correct lighting and environment just as they are in now. By flipping to flower two months from seed. Since most strains flower within 8 weeks or two months. By the time the first run is ready to harvest. The clones will be ready to flip to flower and around the same size as before. Possibly a bit larger since they are infact clones. Lastly as for the scrog itself you can use it to train the plants. As you already have it in place. I would just keep those limbs pulled out and away from the center. This will force the enternode to grow outward and become a limb. Or alternatively you can try mainlining and top each limb. Until you end up with at between 8 and 12 limbs. Any more and your defeating the purpose of this method. In the best case and if your patient to do this and wait 2 months from seed. Train your plants until you have 10 limbs coming from the main stalk. Let it grow until it's been 7 weeks from seed. Then pull off all the little leaves between the nodes. All the way up the stalk. All the way until you have only 3 nodes at the tips. But don't trim all the fan leaves. Just the one's between the nodes or those not getting light. After you've done this wait one week before flipping to flower. You will notice the plant will quickly grow back an additional 3 nodes right at the tips. This is key as they will all stretch out in flower. But since they are packed so tightly together. What you will end up with is one massive bud. With 3 joining satellite buds along the edges of that one long massive bud. This will also ensure that all bud sights are of equal height and close to the light.

Flip now, stretching can be easily 2-3x the plant height in veg,
