I believe I started germinating the seeds around the end of May. So for the sake of argument (between my wife and I), Plants began around June 1, 2020. One plant is slightly smaller. Lower leaves are yellowed and dying off. Plants seem to be growing well. Seeds are from some Bud I received from a farmer that was producing for Medical canibus markets. This is the first time I have grown canibus. I have forced myself to get started by germinating seeds when I was getting my vegetable seeds ready. I have a 4x4 DIY grow booth, made from 1.5" foam with 2x3 boards to make them into panels that I can then screw together to change the size of the booth. I them put panda film on the inside to line it. Still need to make a few modifications, however I can now control my temp and Humidity better. Next to go in the booth was a small Feit Electric 86W LED Full Spectrum grow light. This light is way too small, It will work ok for either Mother or clones, I think.

I started with 6 seeds when I began. Two of the seeds were not even viable, so they didnt even crack shell. One of the remaining 4 was lost due to an over heat in the incubator. Not really sure, it just shriveled up. The next of the remaining three was totallt due to my Big handedness. I was transplanting from the the potting soil I was in, into an fresher larger container of potting soil, only to pull the darned top right off of it.

Plants were transplanted into 1 gal fabric pots today. They are needing a good feed, so I transplanted into Mother earth Naturals potting soil. I was told it should feed my plants for at least 4 weeks.

I added a wire shelf so that i can water in place. For now I can move them around, however once they get bigger I will need something in place so I can get the excess water out. I am just now starting to add some nutes for the plants. also added a work light for when I need to get in to water at night.

Getting the girls ready for a Hair cut. I am adding a form of Defoliation, whereas I remove all of the large fan leaves in order to allow the plant to get better light penetration. My plan is to add my ScrOG screen in a week or two.

Finally got some good risers and scaucers so that my water does not become a problem. They are filling in real nice after their hair cuts. So I'm getting the first part of my screen in. The left plant has been topped and also is getting HST, the main stem near a top node was done as well as a couple of node branches just to see. The right Plant has been topped and is also getting LST.

LST was done on the right plant, however I decided to go with scrren on this one to see what we get. both plants were topped ans the first part of the screen was done last week. This week I am going to finish the screen. I will most likely defoliate all lower stuff as I get closer to flowering./

Started to have some difficulty with my humidity, wanted to able to control it pretty well, so I went and got a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier had the R.H. down where it needed to be within an hour or so. Also bought a small shop vac to get out the excess water that goes through. I'm not sure about the HST of the left plant. I'm not completely sure I preformed it correctly, so I am going to assume I didn't.

I built my water station with the intention of automating my water. I think I will wait to get into that once i get into some coco coir. My Screen is filling in nicely. I am thinking that maybe two more weeks and I my flip them to 12. This I am not totally sure. I may need some assistance.👍 Added an air pump and stirring pump to my nutrient tank. Have it set up on a timer so that it stirs every couple of hours for about 15 mins and 30 just before watering time. All of what I am attempting is from information found on the internet. I have no grow experience at all. I just have a lot of time on my hands. I also tend my outdoor vegetable garden in my spare time...LOL😂

My plants are filling my ScROG screen pretty nicely. How long should I keep them in Veg before flipping to 12 hours. They are growing well despite all my early abuse.

Usually you want to fill maybe .7 x .7 of the space (~50% area=LxW). If you have controlled any side growth with the scrog, it should just grow vertically eh? So, just a matter of filling in, maybe some selective pruning to even her out, and away she goes whenever you want... and space allowable. It's got another ~3 weeks of vegetative growth after you switch to 12-12 schedule. Even spread out it'll put on some good height all over. Might want to leave the outer most net open in future? you'll know better than me in a month or two. Great thing about the diary is you can go back and see all the pictures and notes and do it better next time. So many personal preferences are invovled. Take anythign i suggest only as a generalization that may need to be translated to context or only loosely used conceptually.

Another week of the plants bushing up some more. getting the screen filled in. Thinking about switching her to 12 hours. Looking at doing a good trimming and really thin things out a bit. she needs to get a bit more air up her skirt.

This is going to be my last week in Veg, turning the girls down to 12 hours. They will continue to fill in. I gave them a real good trimming so they can get more light to the center of the plant and get more air. I have also finished my grow room for the most part. When I started this it was only going to be a small cube, now i have a 8 x 12 room and a 2 x 4 foot nursery off to side that room.

Getting buds sites like crazy, it is so pretty. Just keeping the big fan leaves trimmed out. The two plants are still quite different from each other. I can even tell the difference in the water they drink.

Plants are doing ok. I have some spotting on the leaves which is probably stress related but not sure what. I think it has something to do with the calcium or magnesium. i have added cal mag and will do some trimming to get the brown out, but the plant as a whole seems ok

Working on keeping her trimmed out nice. she is really starting to fill in a lot. The buds are looking really good. Starting to get the real frosty look. It has become a must to wear gloves now because she is so sticky. Keep having to clean my snips. Good thing I was able to score some 91% alcohol to clean my tools with.

lost one of the two plants. it just died. it took me a couple of days to figure out why, however not totally sure what the start of the problem was. My PH got really out of wack for some reason. I was about 6.5 going in the soil... and only 4.3 in the run off. not sure why it took a dive, however I was able to save one plant. The second plant which i lost always was the weaker plant, was also smaller right from the start. Genetics in that seed must have not been as good.
