Sometimes, when the top buds and leaves of a tall cannabis plant get too close to the light source due to explosive growth, the intensity of the light may become too much. This occurrence can end up bleaching, which gives the overexposed parts of the plant a white appearance.

No this isn't a hermie. If colas are left to grow too close to a light source, they'll be exposed to uncomfortable levels of heat. This can literally “burn” the tips and result in a white discoloration.

Is it time to harvest?My Gorilla Cookies is almost 8 weeks old (incl. germination) and shows many amber trichomes and some dried pistils, though many are still white. Orange Sherbet, same age and seedbank, is less mature. Temps were 32-33°C. Is this heat stress or early ripening? Can I cut my plant?

Starting to get some bud rot on 2 of my girls. Have controlled it so far. But worried that i will lose the whole plant. Not sure if they are far enough along to harvest, but cant risk losing the whole plant. Any advice would be great. Most of the trichromes are milky on both.

Is this the beginning of flowering?Today I spotted some white hair at the top of my auto orange bud… Ist this the beginning of flowering? Just after 18 days after germination? I had hoped that the plant grows bigger for at least another 1-2 weeks..
Did I trigger flowering with LST and removing 3 leaves / nodes?
