Two buds instead of one on one spot? Why is this happening, or is it normal?

Why is this happening? This is my first grow and one of the growing Buds looks different like all others. It looks like there are coming two buds out of it, instead of just one like on the others. Or is this normal? Sorry for being such a noob. One picture for reference.

Don't worry, as I said, it's safe and more common than you might think. On the contrary, it's said to increase yield. https://dutch-passion.com/en/blog/top-11-most-common-cannabis-plant-mutations-n1111

That is known as a polyploid it is in the genes of the plant. As I understand it will yield more and thc will be higher in those buds then opposed to a normal plant it is a benefit to have it.

On the other hand, I did say that it looked like it. A mutation that is rarely referenced and that I've encountered several times is when a branch suddenly splits in two, like two Siamese twins (I'm not exaggerating, the first time it happened to me, I literally lost half of the plant).

Im so confused now. :D So it's not a bad thing? I googled it and it seems pretty rare, how are the chances that a first time grower gets something like that? I don't get it why this happened in the first place and just on one spot. Must be bad genetics then? I mean i could still cut that branch off, if i end with a none potent bud or so anyway, so i don't even grow it till the end. Or will it be extra potent and it's good thing that it happened? Are there higher chances to get male flowers (hermie) on that plant too? While looking polyphemus up on google i also found "fasciation", whats the difference? I don't want a downsyndrom plant in my garden 🤣 sorry for all my stupid questions but i googled it for a over a hour now and there doesn't seem to be that much information about it, just want to be sure i do the right thing and that it's nothing bad. thank you for your help guys

Your plant has down syndrome. It's riding the short bus. It's unusually happy at all times. When it shakes your hand it is with bone-crushing strength and nothing short of that. When it hugs you it takes your breathe away, literally. see: uncontrollable bone-crushing strength above. https://youtu.be/KreUinWX6xM https://youtu.be/mOqVkkVgCs4

Looks like a polyploid, a harmless genetic mutation. ^^
