Hey there again! Nice work so far! So the idea is the following , EC/PPM measurements are “proxies” used to measure the quantity of feed in the solution. But not all nutes are created equal , some raise it more but are less dangerous some raise it less but are more dangerous. The less dangerous one is micronutrients , so you add that first and then measure your EC/PPM . That’s your basis for the next juice which is NPK , here you have to be a bit more careful. That’s just the basic reason why there is an order for the measuring . You don’t need to follow this but it sometimes helps to not make a mistake or something . Hope this helps ! 🚀

I would do whatever was written on the bottle. The printed instructions have been thoroughly research before they were printed. Besides, everyone else who is using these products would be adding the cal/mag first and if this was an issue, there would be a recall or notification through the re-sellers not to add it first. Also, on another topic, true nutrient "lock out" does not occur until the soil is below 5.5 and above 7.5 pH. Hope this helps,.......... Organoman.
