How long before cloudy trichomes turn amber?

Day 77 of White Widow auto. 6 weeks of flower. Yesterday I noted for the first time cloudy trichomes with a few scattered ambers. My question is: how long is this process generally i.e. how long in cloudy before amber?
It seems strange that the seed seller notes 8 weeks of flower

Once you start to see about 75% of pistols ( white hairs ) die back is when I start keeping an eye on the trichomes no matter what strain it is. Breeders will give you an estimated harvest time it's not always spot on due to the variation of phenotypes. ✌️

Is necessary to harvest in 2 times? Give a week more for the bottom "popcorn" buds and the third plant, shorter in shadow?
