Truth to giving the roots a reason to grow?

In dwc I have seen different opinions on water level. Theres a saying that lowering the water to gives the roots a reason to grow but shouldn't the roots be saturated? I'm day 31 and I have the water just below where the rockwool would be and roots look awesome.

Your doing properly bro. Let the bubbles splashing water around wet the rockwool. Keep your water as cool as you can. Water holds the max dissolved oxygen at 62° to 68°. Frozen water bottles, keep it cool, keeps roots healthy. Cheers

Thricomes checkingSo, a week ago the thricomes were looking almost ready, pretty much 90% cloudy and 10% clear.
Now I checked it and it looks less mature, the thrics are looking 75% cloudy, 20% clear and 5% amber.
Also, it looks like it is developing new growth after a week of no apparent growth.Week 12

Counting flowering weeks according to breeders estimated harvest timeAt week 9 from flipping to 12-12... I read to not count the first week or 2 tho.. Because she technically isn't flowering just yet.. Not till you see the pistils.. And can't miss the beginning of the flower stretch... So that would really put her at week 7 or 8 flower?? Auto 9 week flower, still not finishingMy auto is @ week 13 from seed and week 9 of flower. Her leaves are green and healthy looking. Just tips are slight brown.
