Too wet and compact substrate maybe?

I have the feeling that my substrate all mix Biobizz is always wet (there is a 2-3 cm layer of perlite on the bottom too). 24h before planting, I watered it abundantly as recommended. Later I have been watering carefully & constantly. Should I better stop watering for a while?

If your grow medium is soil, dig down to about 5cm, inspect it If wet down there - do not water If almost dry - do not water, wait for 2 to 3 days and dig again If dry but not dusty - you can plan for a water todayor tomorrow If dry and soil at 3 cm to 5 cm is very dry dusty - you need to urgently water her The secret is do not water too often, at this week 4 probably 3 to 6 day once depending on your environment humidity etc. Cheers Sunny

if cooc wait for top layer to change color, if 'soil' you want to wait for top 1" to dry before re-irrigating. just need more perlite or similar if it's not fluffy or not draining well enough. vermiculite is also a good option. vermiculite also adds some plant-available silica. (technically perlite has silica in it but it will never be plant-available.) go 50/50 with high water capacity soil... you can do less with coco, because it holds 2/3rds the water by volume. so 30% perlite or similar is fine in coco. any more is diminishing returns. this will improve root zone health. improved drainaage. improved O2 penetration. it will cause a little more frequent irrigations, of course, since it now retains less water per volume.

water when needed. you want to keep it in an moistness level that's prime, not when soaking wet not when bone dry. Bone dry, soak the pot for a good ten min so the hydrophilic mediums gets hydrated. Soaking wet, let the pot dry out a bit more before next water and learn. Most mixes have a good amount of perlite in it so overwatering is a bit harder. A good 40-50% perlite with peat and 30% with coir prevent that issue from happening. your air pot will dry out a lot faster then the other plastic pots given the extra surface area exposed to the elements. be wary of that and keep it extra hydrated maybe watering multiple times a day. FYI: Overwatered: leaves droopy stems stiff. Underwatered: leaves extra droopy and stem flaccid. Good Luck!

Demasiado riego BENY_TRUBY !
