You are literally cutting the top bud off and allowing the 2 chutes underneath it to develop as main buds. It redirects all of the growth from the apical meristem to all the bud sites. Kind of set the plant into panic mode and redirects all the growth. When you do this tho make sure you do it with feeding. Autoflowers some people say it is a bad idea to top. I have done it and really like the results but i will only do it once on autos. Hope i helped.

Can anyone help identify this tox/deficiency?Week 6 I noticed that all the new growth has burnt tips I assumed this was a bit of a nitrogen toxicity problem since the leaves were all a nice dark green, no pale leaves were popping up. WiFi Won't Connect?I have turned it on & off again but WiFi will not work! Do you know if their is a paring button somewhere on it? It has a firmware update, but I can't do this without WiFi and there is no Ethernet port to hardwire it, Seedsman has been of no help troubleshooting.. Cheers, m0use

Virgin CBG "Pop" My Peppercorn Ever grown out a CBG plant before? When should I harvest, mostly cloudy, some / no amber?
