Topping during Flowering: good or bad?

Does topping “fast growing” colas during flowering (for light purposes) help or hinder flower dev and/or harvest?
Or should I sacrifice tallest ones to possible bleaching?
Canopy was level before flower, but a few colas took off, creating uneven SoG (6" diff)

hi!
do not top them! i use to rise the shortest ones putting some bricks under the pots. that's the easiest way for me to have a leveled canopy.

I wouldnt top anymore. Just bend down the highest colas with LST and you should be fine, nice even grow....

How to reduce yield? (without reducing quality)Can I prune down to 3 or 4 colas? When? Or better to let it grow normally and compost the extra? I've found it too easy to grow way more than I can use. Especially when I experiment with different varieties. I'm also thinking it might be easier to spot pests etc. with less colas?Buds. Other

How many inches from top of canopy should I be?I’m currently sat 16 inches away, it’s a spider farmer g3000 300w led light. I’ve seen some diaries where you lot are around 10 inches away but I’m unsure whether that is correct or just a quick answer. Could people please tell me what would be best?
