Will taking about 1/8 off top of flowers promote fattening ?

Hey all. I am curious to know if back building buds is actually effective. I seen a YouTube video where they actually "toped" the buds. The person took about 1/8 off the top of all his flowers. They were about 5 weeks into flower. He stated that it helps fatten up the buds ????

Complete rubbish.
Leave them to grow naturally, they will only grow as fat as their genetics are programmed to do.
Topping buds will just reduce yields.

I have seen the same video. I have never tried it and haven't come across anyone one this site doing it. I was tempted to have a go but never did. I personally think it could be a load of crap. If your curious only do it on a couple of buds.

Why do my flowers grown in coconut fiber have no taste? it doesn't taste anything, but really.. the smell is brutal. I wash it for two weeks, I don�I have been working with plagron coconut for a year! Early flowering hairs turning brownHey guys, today I noticed a couple flower hairs turned brown. Does anyone with more experience have some guidelines regarding what could be causing this? If so, how could I fix it?

2 colas amber nothing else noticableI noticed that today, Tuesday, the second day of the 4th week of flower; that two bud colas have begun to turn amber. Is this ok or some issue? Nothing else on plant turned and those 2 sites seem to be overly ripe if the rest started nothing else is noticable.
