1st time Grower for medical use

Plant now about 2 weeks old. After transplanting from small Pot to 5 Liter Pot Size and place under the MarsHydro TSL2000 with 50% lightpower.
2cd Day under the light and in the Growtent, color of the tips changed (see pictures).
Now i struggle... is this because of transplanting to a bigger Pot or to much light intensity?
DAY15
As recommended I dimmed down the light now to 25% and 40 cm away from the plant.
Additionally i repot the plants to a bigger pot and with much airyer Soil (50% peat and 50% perlite).

I agree, the leaves may have had some water spots on them.
The lights turn them drops into mini magnifying glasses.
your light is also a bit to close.
Try raising it up to 18-22" the PPFD map is hot right in the centre.

Next day the burned leaf doesnt looks well. I think it comes from the stress of repotting and stronger light.
I useing Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect, so i think it wont come from Nutburn??
I Adjust it now to 25% and about 40cm high.
The newer topleaf does not get any new burns over the night. i hope it stays like that...

Strange thing over 1 night... with the nutrients Water-Mix:

EC and PPM doubled ? In one day?
Edit: ok i guess rookie mistake... lol xD I checked it again with the PEN-Tester and i got out:

but this time i shake the bottle very well, looks like the nutrieens sank to the bottom? (i using a pumpspray bottle, so downwater out first)

The Plants looking good. I dont cut off the 2 leafs from the lightburn i wait till the fall off by them self.
I feel more confident so i start feeding more water with NutMix.
Also i think they can take a littlebit more light so i set the dimmer to 33% and the high is about 50 cm.

Edit: I flushed the Plants with water about 2 * 500ml (ph 5,73). I dont want to us more water because of high humidity problems.
will check PH later again, if still to high i use more water.

Looking better today and no new burns. I let them dry out now about 2 more days and then start feeding
3Mix + CalMg.
The damage leaves from yesterday looking worst today. Someone of the experienced growers
can define the problem? I Adjust the light to 25% and about 40cm high like suggested from @m0use.
Is this a clear lightbun or can i be something else?

PH is a bit low. that will need to come up.
and TDS is not looking to bad.
you could get away with M-.5, G-.5, B-.5 for nutrient line up. 1/2 strength
then move that up to .75-1ml/l in the next few days or next week following.
AN tends to like even numbers between all there products in that lineup. Feeding guidelines are bottom of the page.

Are you using RO or PH down in their beforehand? RO water tends to have a PH between 5-7
You may need to verify the calibration on your PH pen. When was the last time this was done?
Also get come extra CalMg if you are using RO water as it will be to soft.

Because the salts in the nutrients build up in the substrate causing the burn and raising the PH
hence the plain water for a day or so set at 6 should lower the salts and the PH at the same time
Looking at your diary the "soil" your using looks to be more so a soil-less mix but hard to tell.
Can you find what its made out of? soil and soil-less have some different requirements in terms of PH.
Giving your feeding levels and EC I think it was fortified and their is to much nutrition in the medium at this point.
your Ec was .3 and ppm was aorund 200. that's not to much for a week 3 plant.
You could try and flush it out or just use plan water for your next feed. allow it time to take up the nutrients.
If and when your flushing you want to read the EC/PPM runoff of the plant as it will tell you how much is coming out.
If this number is 50-100 higher in PPM then you know for sure the medium was holding onto to much salts.
With Ph perfect line up you don't need to worry so much about the PH levels, but its a good idea to always bring you water to 6.5 before adding nutrients.
They suggest you add in Micro then Grow then Bloom string lots before adding the next one in.
If you know whats in your medium or soil let us know as this will delicate what other things might be need for you grow.
If it is soil-less you will want to add in some calmg for the plants. they will need it in the later days.
and if there is coir in the soil it will also need calmg or it will steal it all from the PH perfect lineup if it was unbuffered.

Plant 1: wow, the last action i took from DAY25 realy paid off. The Plant shooting upwards and the leafes looking nice.
I guess the light greenish color and slimmer leafes comes from the genetics (Landrace Seed genetic).
Plant 2: looking weaker at the bottom. But the Top grows better and stronger after the DAY 24 action.
The light increase to 50% didnt burnt the leafes, i guess they can take it now, will monitor it closely.
Over the day going back to 37ish% light and 60cm hight.

I got to agree with the below answers.
Topping is more my style vs Fiming. Fiming to me is "a mistake" and I don't want 4 branches out of one node. harder to manage space wise.
If you want to keep it short, increase a lot more blue light into the tent in veg and use LST to help keep it down.
Could also mainline it to keep it really low. I find I am liking it more and more in my grow style.
What you plant on doing with this plant will be where you'll decide to take this.
If you do top it. wait a few more nodes before topping it again, gives you more room to stretch them branches away from each out.

Inter vein yellowing makes me think magnesium. Your supplementing cal mag tho. It’s in coco so are you getting decent runoff with every watering? And have you flushed at all?

Wow, just 4 days and they really took off. NutesFeeding is now full automated also the Aircon kicks in
when ever its needed.
I didnt had alot time the couple last days, and on top i got some light timer failure so the light didnt turn off all night.
In the morning they were a little stressed. But for now they looking strong and nice.
I switch them now to "Flower" with about 11,5h ON 12,5h OFF.

I'm starting to worry, that they will get out of control with stretching (Landrace strain).

Installed the ScrOG net in the tent. Cut off some leaves.
RO Plant 1: PH=7,0 ⬆️ EC=1070⬇️ PPM=537⬇️

So they grow about 9 cm over night 😲 I'm starting to worry,
that they will get out of control with stretching (Landrace strain).
What can i do now to keep them down. Can I top them now in flowering stage?
Continue with LST? More light?
If they are stretching like mad and you having issues with them I would suggest trying something called supper cropping if LST is not working.
It is a HST technique that will help even out the canopy and prevent them from getting to tall. Best used in conjunction with SCROG.
in short its pinching a branch to bend 90 degrees to be horizontal vs vertical.
Also 9cm is impressive, if bamboo can grow 3feet in a day I don't see why cannabis can't do 3 inches, its also one of the most versatile plants farmed.

plant 1 is female :D I see pistils and no balls.
plant 2 is 100% male. I don't see any pistils on it just balls.
If you not collecting pollen, kill it before the sacks open up.
If you noticed some of them are open or cracked spray it with a lot of fine mist water to deactivate the pollen.

I'm just finishing up a sativa grow (Tangerine Dream) and I've had the same problem... You can definitely do some LST on them to lower them down. I bought some LST clips and even at the stage you're in, you can find a pliable-enough section of the stem to use them on. If I measured every bend and curve I put my ladies through, they'd be over 50" - in a 60" tent!! I even tried to do LST on a stem that wasn't optimal and it ended up being HST! That was the main cola and I was very worried - but it didn't harm her at all and she kept right on growing and growing and growing and growing.... Yup, that's a sativa!! From now on, I'm only going to have ONE sativa in my tent - they not only get very tall but they can get very wide as well!
Oh... one more thing... I worried about them getting too close to the light (which they definitely would have - they would have grown PAST the light even though it is now resting on the top frame of the tent instead of hanging ... but these guys don't seem to mind being inordinately close to their source of light... mine is now just about 3" from the light and it makes no difference to them at all...
DO do a lot of defoliation to get light down beneath as your harvest will reward you!
One thing I'm having to do now is harvesting over a few weeks time... the top 1/3 is harvestable but I'm letting the bottom grow out more and that's proving to be a good choice... the lower buds are fattening up and ripening nicely.

For my next grow i need to focus more on Main-Lining and ScrOG, so the plant don't crowd and for a better look.

I took one calyx out and open it (foto). Only some mushy green staff no hard things and no seed.
I cannot provide any light to this area they to deep down the canopy, should i cut them. If yes, all at once?
The only thing i worry, if i cut the buds the plant get more power and will rise up in hight and grwoing to
close to my light. Thank you
Yes, remove all the smaller growth and do it all at the same time.
There will be no "extra" energy to make your plants shoot up.
All energy is made in the leaves and it does not get stored anywhere.
Removing all the smaller leaves and branches will cause a reduction in energy being made, so no zooming away towards the light with the rest of the plant because of doing the trimming.

i was away from the plant about 4 days. My DIY autosystem worked surprisingly well. All feedings, light schedule, humidity and
temperature in range.
I was kinda worried that she will grow into the light, but looks like she finished the stretch for now
and starts focusing on bud development. There are alot of new pistols forming.
Her tips are burnt/crispy and crawling upwards, i think one reason could be because I pusht her a little too much on the nutriens. (looking at you CalMag)
Another reason might be a salt build up, I grow in coco coir and give 2,5L per day but get hardly any RO.
I will flush her tomorrow and take RO EC and ppm.

Hi friends welcome back :D
So today i took out the exhaust fan from the tent and placed it on top of the tent, looks like it can support the weight.
I did this so i can hang the light as high as possible under the tent ceiling. I want to be sure the problems dont come
from light burn.
I also installed some "plant yoyo´s", awesome tool to separate the colas and bring them in a good position under
the grow light. Helps also with airflow.
Made some defoliation of old leafes.
I flushed with about 380ppm 3 liter nutesmix to get a nice RO.
Results are:
RO= PH: 5,8 400ppm/800EC
This now should washed out all kind of salt blocks.
Will keep the Nutesmix with about 1200EC 600PPM for now and see if she likes it.
I will monitor now closley the next 2-3 days if she looks better. If not this can only be a nuterins defizit, what i doubt.
EDIT:
last feeding today generated RO.
Readings RO:
EC 705 (0,7) PPM: 354
New feedings on top is EC1200/600ppm
354 PPM RO is close to flush PPM 380 = salts should be out by now

Well, she is one massive lady! It is not the fisrt time I found myself in doubt, and double check on previous week if this is really one plant.
What I see is she is running out of K mate. Feeding 4 times a day (until sufficient runoff I suppose) rules out any lockout issues possible.
Also, yes you are feeding at 600 ppm, but you have a lot of supplement and not enough NPK source. I don't grow with Advanced Nutrients (except for some CalMag=)
so I had to check, and their feeding chart calls for 4ml a L, so giving 1,5 is really on the low side for a plant the size of yours, even for a sativa landrace.
Burnt looking leaves tips and yellowing of fan leaves are the first signs of K deficiency. To fix this, up your feeding to 3ml a Litre of all 3 of your base nutrients (Grow, Micro and Bloom) as they are meant to be given at equal parts, and see if deficiency progress. Next step would be the apparition of rusty spots on leaves similar to Mag deficiency.

Today I discovered something strange, namely that some lower colas are dark green/healthy looking, no sign of yellowish/green.
So the deficit cant be a mobile nutrients deficit? Lightburn?
I start to thinking i have/had more then 1 Problem.
1. First of all I placed the light to close for about 2 weeks with around 20cm. Tought she loves it and can take it.
So maybe that bleached out the color and burnt the tips.
- raised the lights to about 40 cm away from the canopy now under the tent ceiling, I cant place the light any higher.
2. everything was running so well that I just fed the nutes with my DIY automatic watering system, with little to no RO about 2 weeks,
that causes a lockout so i flushed her 2 times to be sure this problem is eliminated.
- i now get everday RO that I will monitor the PH/EC/PPM
- for the next grow i need to build a better solution to get rid of the RO
3. underfeeding... so that i eliminated the problems i can think of, looks like she needs more nutes.

Light exposure have a lot to play with nutrients needs. Not saying you have too much light. The real food for a plant is your light. Nutrients are really just minerals that support the growth. What you see is your bigger colas are using more minerals to generate flowers, and your plants is using the ones stored in the nearby leaves.
Also, mobile nutrients shows deficiency on older leaves. I suspect the smaller colas to be sub-branches that grew after the main ones.

Shes so flexible, her branches diameter is approximately 5 mm and are super flexible
maybe around 1.5 m if i had to guess.
She is a way to big for the tent (120x60x180), I start to get humidity spikes in the night
about 65-72%, i trimmed some lower popcorn nuggets out to get the humidity down.
I also noticed the RO is high. PH 5,9 EC 3600 (3.6) 1800PPM
Now I changed the NutesMix down to EC 1470 (1.47) 735 PPM
and I increase the amount of feeding to 4 Liter per day (4 x 1 L)

what a journey so far.
So turns out that my RO tray has a leak underneath,
so everytime RO comes down to the tray its leaking to the tent botton,
maybe that causes the humidity spikes in the night....lol
Beside this she really is a beauty. Her colas are getting thic very slowly, and she still growing upwards.
Its looks like every singel cola still now want to win the "main-stem" race? She is already at the roof of the tent.
I notice that my RO is high with range EC about 3000 and ppm 1500.

She is doing great so far and she's a gorgeous lady i can tell you.
The Bud´s throwing some new pistils and they are really slow getting bigger.
All over she have an extra shoot on top over mostly every Bud, looks like she is
"foxtailing", in a good way as far as i read up this subject, its because of her Sativa genetic.
If i look at this from a engineering point of view, this extrashoot at the top almost looks like a
helicoptor blade, so it could have a purpose of balancing the stem in windy conditions...
kinda aerodynamic feature balancing the branch in the wind.
I got some heavy RO´s (10% ) EC: 3200 ; 1600ppm
cut back at the nutes now to 1300EC/650PPM 5,62PH

I have cloned topped tips before on an outdoor grow and they worked out. granted they where still in veg.
Took forever to root and when I gave it to my parents to grow out it only reached 1/3rd its potential.
I still think lower cutting make better applicate to cloning then the tips.
From what I have red flowering plants will root faster but take longer to switch back to veg,
So I'm guessing combination of "tip of plant" and "in flower" it will take its sweet time but it is possible.
Try the tips and a few lower cutting and see what happens
I soak mine in water with a micro amount of liquid feed. Once they make little bumps on the stalk, that's where roots will form, they go into moist seedling medium. I feed them once they make some roots and may top off medium with some composted matter..

Welcome everybody to a new and the last week of this nice journey,
she's a gorgeous lady, i am planning for harvest
on the coming weekend. She is changing color to purple/redish... so beautiful :)
The calyxes are swelling nice and buds are very sticky... had to clean my hands with
WD-40 after thin out some foliage. The smell is a very nice and clean mango and a touch of peppermint.
The trichomes are about 50-60% clody.
Can't wait for the tasting...

Oh lord was she a beauty to grow and for my first grow experience ever I learned alot.
I hope I will every grow her again, but 24 weeks is not that easy to maintain :D
