It can be picked when most of the hairs change color. I couldn't see the trichomes very good but if the are milky you will get a different high than if they are amber. Amber is usually a heavier high.

I am in the mediterranean clima zone with very hot days in the summer. Is it worth or advisable to cover de soil with some clay balls to prevent water waste and water evaporation? I have noticed that the upper part of the soil has dried out but the roots are still damp.

Do outdoor plants not get the dark they need. Just wondering like street lights moon stars does that cause hardship the way a light leak can mess up a tent. Just wondering should be putting hoods on our outdoors too like a bird. Just wondering peoples take on that philosophy.

How close are these plants to harvest?
Any experienced growers out there have an opinion on how much longer I should wait before harvesting? These are in the Boston area and light decreases daily along with the temps. Only 4 - 5 hours of direct sunlight now. Trichomes are getting milky.

Flowerin/Preflowering/Showing Sex in Vegative stage?
Today I noticed all my outdoor plants have pistils after being 3-5weeks outside. Is this normal and will they continue veg due to increasing days/temps? Also, could this be reversed with additional light? Currently in the 7th week of Spring with 14h light and 13h sunrise.

Airy buds or just genetics?
How does my bud development seem to you? Trichomes aplenty but I feel the leaf to callyx ratio is pretty poor? Perhaps due to something I've done/not done, or simply a predisposition of its genetics? Trichomes still 90% clear. Likely to fatten up in next few weeks as trichs turn?
