Does too much humidity stop or slow flowering/growth?

Does grow stop entirely with too high humidity? We are currently in a heatwave and I have no way of getting my humidity down. The humidity is anywhere between 60-80% (I know it should be 40-50% preferably) and she is in the flowering stage.

Short answer yes , with too much humidity your plants can no longer transpire and growth will come to a halt , ideal range for grow phase is 50/75 , and in flowering 40/55 , but you can take that with a grain of salt i have had humidity close to 80 % and they where just fine , just make sure you have enough ventilation and air movement to avoid mold issues. Peace

@Daffie_Toke great, thanks! I have a dehumidifier, a ventilator, a air purifier and de ionizer. I just received a second ventilator where I can add ice cubes too. The humidity is at its lowest 55 in night and early morning but during the day it will definitely go up again during the day to 65-80.

BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THE RISK OF MOLD. JUST GET A SMALL DEHUMIDIFER FOR 30 BUCKS. TRY TO GET IT AT LEAST IN THE 50-60% RH RANGE. GOOD LUCK.
