Bud rot?

I am not sure what the issue is, but one of my colas looks like it's falling apart. The flower is turning brown and the sugar leaves are dying. Is this bud rot? If so, what do I do?

Yes, it is. Cut it off now and pray, It might already been on other breanches.. if you have lots of plants, throw this one off a distance!

This is a fungus infection or powder mildew infection, progressing to bud rot. You can also spray the infected areas down with diluted isopropyl alcohol, it will get rid of the fungus spores. This is only safe for edible consumption though. As smoking it would be very toxic. The Isopropyl alcohol is safe because it is used in R.S.O.

I cut the plant down to avoid cross contaminating the other plants. Most of the plant looks good, but I found a lot of aphids hiding away in there. Is there an issue smoking the bud if it doesn't have any damage to it?

Either heat damage or botrytis. I wouldn't take the chance.

@ChitownCannaChica I looked closely, but I can't see any of the mold. Can it be from heat? It's dry and hot here in SoCal, so I am wondering if it's not something else? What can be done if it is mold? Are other plants safe? Thanks for your reply.

Slimey/Webby parts of the flower? Looks like rot or mold?I removed the infected parts of the plant and defoliated the fan leaves around the sites to help with aeration. Did she go past her prime and now she is dying? Or just because of high humidity in the air?

Bract/calyx turning brownHey fellow growmies,
i noticed brown bract/calyxes on one of my plants. (week 12, auto, 20 % amber)
Iwasnt't worried until I found them inside of some buds while checking for budrot.
Should I be concernend (cut the buds), or is this just the circle of the plant life or genetics?

Budrot on previosly repaired broken branch, next steps?I snapped a branch about a week ago. Today i did a close inspection and spotted bud rot at its top site, so i removed the branch and inspected the rest of the bud sites on the plant. It doesnt seem to have spread. Is there anything i should do now to secure the rest of the harves

Bud rot! Should I harvest early?I wasn’t finding any mold or mildew except a few leaves until today. Had about 4days of rain and now there’s a bit of rot in every large bud it seems like. About 10 days of sun coming up now, so should I just cut the rot out and wait 1-2 weeks? Or chop now and make hash?

I've been stressing out about high humidity levels in my tent, and a chemical smell when I smell my fingers after running them through the buds.

To the bin… i guessSo, i harvested with gloves, trimmed with gloves, stored at 1/4 capacity of the jar and hace opened the jar daily a couple of minutes, 55% humidity booster placed inside, i don’t think this is trichomes getting frosty, it’s clearly mold, isn't it? So, to the bin i guess…?
