Hi guys. Do my plants need topping if I have little space (60x40x120cm) and I am planning a scrog? Are the plants ready for topping? After topping, I plan to use only lst + scrog, no mainlines/manifolds. I also plan to turn on the lights 12/12 in a week or two. Thanks!

Yes I would top soon.. if you’re not mainlining I’d leave 3-4 nodes so you’ll have 6-8 main branches to weave thru the scrog.. keeping more than 3-4 nodes that will be tough in a smaller area like that IMO.

And yes I would just chop off the new growth so you have 3-4 nodes.. sometimes I cut off the very bottom node if it’s not looking as hearty and strong as the other nodes above it

Thanks. If I do not plan to mainline/manifold, do I need to cut only one node?

Is it too late for scrog and have I had the light too low during the veg stage?So I noticed pistils appearing and now I'm worried that I've had my light too low during veg (~8k lux). Is it too late for scrog at this point or will they continue to grow? I've now bumped the light up to 22K lux should I lower the light to increase the intensity even more? TIA

Smaller stems under the net during Flowering (Defoliation and ScrOG)I put a ScrOG net and now I am wondering if I should delete everything under the net or leave also the smaller leaves and stems for the flowering. You can see in my diary how the plants are. I'm afraid that leaving also smaller stems under the net would decrease my harvest

Should i top again?My plants are topped and i used lst to pull my branches horizontal. When i flip to flower, i am going to place a scrog net. Should i top my main tips again before flipping to flower or just let them grow? Don't want them outgrowing other branches when i let everything grow up.

Decisions I want to clone the lowest two branches, to have acess to my tray. I plan to scrog with two main branches and use off-branches to fill my triangle. Will the two branches be able to fill how I have planned? Can I clone those branches without stressing the plant too much?

This is my first grow, I am on day 27 of flower and don’t want to over-defoliate. Do I continue to remove larger leaves as they come through the net or stop removing foliage entirely? PT is short, and wide should I remove lower bud sites? Used some lowers as clones but lots left.

Are the gals safe to top or are they too stressed?I've heard that you shouldn't top your ladies while there are any deficiencies or issues as it can be extremely stressful. Considering the light spotting and slightly burnt tips, would you say these gals are fine to top or should I wait until everything is perfect and dialed in?

Small space scrog Quick question to the Scrogers out there. I have a width=40cm length=70cm heigh= 90cm I would like to use it to grow but my head is telling me it’s to small to grow and scrog a single auto. Using the mars hydro ts600 (100w actual wattage) do you think this is possible?

Topping Error I made a topping by mistake today. I broke while checking the plant :(( I cut too much from the bottom and also cut a fan leaf. Do you think there is a problem? In this case, is fertilizer given?

Continue tie-down or start using a scrog net Since it seems like I can do LST for quite a while longer, and I do technically have a scrog net lying around;Would you guys continue with the tie-down method, or position a scrog net 5-10 cm over the current canopy and guide the plant through the net? Just don't wanna over do it

Topped the same way with 2 different results?? First time grower I tried to top 2 plants in the same way but one main shoot stopped growing, but the other had two new growths come right out of the old stem, as well as 2 bushier side stems. I am just wondering what I did differently and if both plants should work out fine. Video to show...
