How much water at this stage?

At the first start of vegetation how much should I’ve be watering? I’m light misting around the entire soil. More mist around the plant then once a day pour about 4 oz into the soil. Soil does not feel dry at any point around plant.

I generally do not mist. All it does is moisten the top layer of soil. It is OK for keeping the soil around the seed moist for germination but as soon as the sprout is above ground I go to more traditional watering. Roots will follow the water so water deep. When very young it is common for the root to be 2 or 4 times as long as the plant above ground, so water deep. With sprouts like yours I water about a 80-100cm (3-4 inch) diameter circle around the sprout. At this stage it might only need watering every 2 or 3 days but I water enough to get all the way to the bottom of the pot to get those roots growing deep. Then as the plant grows I water well beyond the canopy above. This helps encourage the roots to grow outwards and use every bit of soil in the pot. Your sprouts look very tall. How high is your light? Depending on the strain you are growing you might consider lowering the light to keep the plant from stretching.

In the first week spraying is perfect. After that u can add like a small glas of water every 2,5 days or so. It's not too bad to skip a day. There will always be some moisture left in the soil if u give water every 3 days. The roots need to learn to search for the moist. Don't water directly around the stem, spread it nice around. And weight the pot, u will learn how it feels fully watered and after a few days when it's lighter. Overwatering is so easy to do, almost killed my first plants that way. Happy growing 😉🙏

Ok so honestly it’s something you have to get a feel for on your own. No one can give you an exact amount of water per day because there are so many variables. The heat and humidity in your grow area are huge factors- as well as age of plant and size of container.. At that stage all i can advise is don’t water when the top part of soil has any moisture when touched. In the container you’re in and environment, and stage of growth- a few fluid oz a day seems about right. Signs of overwatering and underwatering should become pretty obvious once your plant develops over the next couple weeks. Trust your judgment and remember these aren’t super exotic plants.. they thrive fairly easy and keeping it simple and consistent will work 99% of the time
