Do Trichomes hold all the medicine and terpines etc that will be produced

Are all terpines, thc, cbd, etc.. in the trichomes and no where else? If so, what if i had only clear trichomes and i harvested? no thc? I normally wait till mostly cloudy and cut. I try to wait for a few ambers but why?

Milky trichomes is when plant is ready, than, as any fruit, you can like it more mature (amber) or not yet ready (clear)
Clear trichomes have less THC, amber should give you a different and more complete high, personally I harvest when milky because I have not so much patience and I want avoid mold or more insect problems at the end of growing 💪🏻💚

Im not trying to step on toes but I’m pretty sure amber trichs do not have the same thc content as fully cloudy/milky trichs. It may not be a huge difference but that ambering is the beginning of degradation of the THC into a different compound (CBN) with much different effects than THC.
So yes letting more amber trichs form will have a somewhat different high, but it’s less THC than harvesting when there’s the most cloudy/milky trichs
Harvesting with clear trichs would have little thc in them.. and yes I believe almost all the cannabinoids are in the trichs

Hi—- most of it- yes!
Hence why hash is all trichomes. However you can separate it all from plant material.

Clear trichs lowest thc levels cloudy is max thc levels and amber is the same level as cloudy, just the effects change. Cheers

Almost ripe?I looked at the trichomes through a microscope - on the main cola, there are a lot of amber and milky trichomes. The hairs are actively drying, but there's probably 2-3 weeks until harvest.
Maybe in a week I should start giving ripen? Assess the readiness of my plant.

Judging Harvest dayI've been watching the trics on my crit xxl closely, I now have 30% clear 50% cloudy 20% amber.
I'm on day 62 from flipping, day 52 from noticing first pistils. I flushed twice in the last week, but am still seeing new growth.
Should I wait another week before chopping?

New white pistils close to harvestingHello,
I have new pistils that appeared a few days ago only on the top buds. I planned on harvesting in 7 to 10 days max
May look like foxtailing or not... Temps is 23°C so may not be heat stress. PPFD is about 600 so may not be light stress either

How long until flower ? Why not flowering ?When i look at other peoples diaries i see that their plants most likely start flowering at Week 5-6, some even flower earlier but mine doesnt look like she is flowering any time soon. Hermaphrodite Questions. Is my she also a he?!How worried should I be with a possible hermaphrodite? Ive found a total of 4 pollen pods. ive wiped the leaves from 2 that opened n spread the pollen on sum lower leaves. I don’t see any banana appendages. Should I just keep watching n plucking the pods?
