Remove little leaves on stem or no?

Should I remove the smaller leaves coming off the stem or leave em? Iām noticing a lot & wanna make sure Iām staying on top of what I should be looking out for.

I donāt personally keep the bottom two sets of branches. So you can keep it for now no need to stress the plant. But when itās time for a good defoliation then you can remove them.
