Hello fellow grower, testing the runoff while growing in soil is a little over the top. You don't need to check this as long as you are putting in the right PH. Plants in soil can survive in the range PH 5-8. Optimal for cannabis is 5.5-7.0, depending on the media. Soil is easy as its a great buffer for water added. As long as you check your water intake PH, don't worry about the run off. Make sure you let the soil dry before watering again. Always make sure your water temp is between 65-70 F. This helps with oxygen absorption and nutrient uptake. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

Don´t sweat it. Not an real issue unless you plan a 26 week grow, with a tricky sativa in a huge pot ;-) .

Hey friend, how's it going? There are always homemade ways to lower the pH. But I don't understand, I advise you to buy a product specifically for that. You'll feel more at ease. If you let the water sit for a few hours, it tends to lower the pH. Good luck with your grow and hugs!
