Hi, I’ve started my grow 3 weeks ago. There is a lot of leaves but the plant don’t grow in height. Also the node are really close to each other (5 node in 3 inch plant). I was wondering if it’s normal?

Depending on strain will effect node distance. Less light intensity will help them stretch more. Dimming or moving farther away. Me personally I rather have the closer nodes since I have height and space restrictions. Come flowering they always spread out a lot. Lanky looking plants will struggle with additional weight of buds, and bend easier as well. Things to consider. Good luck and happy growing 🌱

I've had seven within an inch. If you wanna space the nodes out you could always raise your light or dim it down. Sometimes that can happen with over-watering as well. If anything they look like they need to be moved to bigger pots.

It confirms what I thought. I had already raised my light from 5inch(35inch betwen light and plant) and dimming to 75% 2 days ago. I am thinking of reducing it to 50% gradually but I am afraid of stressing them too much knowing that at the beginning it was at 100% .yes they are under led, it is a Mars hydro ts200. do you use led light? led lights tend to keep plants low (which is not a bad thing) if you have slow growth I suggest you introduce co2

Less space between nodes means a strong light. Maybe the light is too close or too powerful?
Maybe dimming and/or moving the light further away forcing the plant to stretch towards the light thus increasing node distance is the ticket... I think.

E-Regular Top GrowthSo I couldn't help notice that one of my Afghan is growing E-regular, the top is well 😔 It's like it ether didn't grow out a top as in the center its a nub and or may have now created two nodes , not really sure , time will tell I guess , but I've never really seen that before?

How can I improve horizontal growth? -first grow, not too much light, manual watering, no nutrients added yetHey,
I'm growing 2 Amnesia autos, they get around 6-7 hours direct sunlight and I help them out with two lightbulbs. I left them for 2-3 days with not enough light so they grew a lot vertically.
Do you have any tips to increase horizontal growth? (Besides buying better lights :D)

Grew too fast?I know each plant grows differently but, did I do something wrong while growing? She has so much space between nodes and doesn't look like she will produce well. She grew fast and is unstoppable. I just want to make sure that it was not something I did to cause so much stem.
