They are very robust actually in outdoor settings. The larger the container it's in the bigger it will grow. They finish faster also so you can beat the first frost in your area. Just make sure you have a bit of a shelter for it so it doesn't get soaked when it's flowering. It will help keep mold issues at bay. Good luck gardening.
