I'm having an issue with two of my plants, the leaves are curling upward right at the base of the leaf. My humidity is right at 57-60%, heat goes fro 76-81 during the day, watering once a day. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Im on day 10, by the way.

Leaves. Curl up

Leaves can curl for a variety of reasons, ph problems, extreme humidity high or low, light and heat stress, as well as overwatering. I see you water each day, they may not need that, perhaps every other day, typically if top soil is dry up to your 1st or 2nd knuckle. I also see your light is at 18 inches, I think many led companies recommend about 24inches at this stage, but that could cause the light and heat stress. The plants look pretty good to me and I think this just a temporary problem with a few minor changes. However 55% isnt a bad humidity for this stage. I think give her a healthy flush, move the light, possibly add an additional small fan and things should take off again. Best of luck with the tweaking of circumstances. Happy growing.

Definitely heat stress. Raise the lights a bit -- your plants are NOT stretching so it's not having a problem getting light. Looking good otherwise! Good luck with the rest of your grow!

Hi there! Those babies are suffering from heat and/or light-burn! Try to decrease your temperatures and increase your distance between the light & the plants. I'll be around, good luck with these beauties!

Hi,

Normally a sign of heat stress if the leaves curl up at the edges like that. Get a fan blowing in your grow room lightly. You can also raise your light up a few cms. Test it by using your hand, if its too hot for your hand above your plants after 10 seconds, its too hot for your plants, then raise or lower depending on that sweet spot. hope this helps.

Increase the distance to the lights
