Hello dear growdiaries community, so on my last question people recommended NOT to use "Topping" for Automatic Strains but infact only use "LST" my question would be how that works, do i just bend down the leaves with the little things on the stem (marked on picture) 😂 thanks.

I use Low Stress clips when they are further along. This early, you don't quite need to start yet, but if you do, use something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Luster-Leaf-Prod-Inc-839/dp/B000RUFDI2/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=lst%2Bwire&qid=1638556964&sr=8-11&th=1 Then you want to bend the sections that are being blocked, so they are seeing light. At this point judging by your pictures, you don't need to start yet. However, when you have a few nodes, I have started using clips like this: https://engineeredessentials.com/collections/plant-trainers-for-low-stress-training

You bend the whole plant. What you are trying to do is force the plant to grow sideways, As you bend and tie down the plant it will always start growing up to the light again. You keep bending different parts to keep the plant as flat as possible. When you bend the whole plant over the parts you circled will start to grow up. Once they get to 2-5" long you will start bending them down as well.

U can try to bend the entire plant gently, to keep the top from going up and to promote the growd of the potential budsides👌

Roughly where you have put the red circle is where you want to start bending it over. You expose the lower sites that way which then get as much energy as the top does. I usually have wire near the bottom pulling the plant the opposite way from the top just as a support.
