Yeah i don’t recommend it either. There’s a good chance you will be fine doing it - if circumstances really call for it.. but I wouldn’t do it

I wouldn’t recommend changing substrates. As one requires a different PH of water going in than the other.
I can see it cause you more headaches than anything else.
But there are no rules so if you want to do it nothing stopping your from trying it out.
I personally wouldn’t change substrate mid grow though.

Acidic soilDid a runoff test on a soil sample and the water went from 7.03 to 5.55. The Guano I used was highly acidic. Do I flush and resume my fertilizer schedule or do I ride it out and see if the plants can use it up? Minor stresses showing but its only been 3 days in the soil. WTD?Week 4

Thricomes checkingSo, a week ago the thricomes were looking almost ready, pretty much 90% cloudy and 10% clear.
Now I checked it and it looks less mature, the thrics are looking 75% cloudy, 20% clear and 5% amber.
Also, it looks like it is developing new growth after a week of no apparent growth.Week 12

50% pistils turned amber but can't be sure if trichomes are clear or milky.

I checked her tricomes (it's my first grow) i think I see plenty of amber, some still clear but didn't see any I would diaries as milky. Fan leaves a mostly green, so i am confused. Harvest autoflower so soon?Auto Gelato from Ganja Farmer. Its day 58 and the trichomes are cloudy and the pistils are red/orange. The buds are beautiful and fragrant but still pretty small. Cold night temperaturesWe are heading into some cold overnight temperatures later this week. Low 40's likely, with daytime 55-60. No rain expected, or not much at least, but unseasonably chilly and cloudy. This one needs time, however. Should I cover it, drag it inside for overnight.. suggestions?
