Hey grower friends, I'm looking for an explanation regarding calcium and magnesium in the last weeks of flowering. It needs it badly. But does this affect the final taste? Should I do a flush at the roots with some product or just water with adjusted pH? Like for 2 weeks?

Well I follow the lotus nutrient chart for coco. I do use the Lotus Carboflush to help with flushing. However I don’t think special products are necessary to have a successful flush. It more helps with breaking down salts. They call to cut the cal/mag during the last week of flowering. I don’t have an explanation as to what it may do to the final taste of the buds. I also don’t think you need cal/mag in the last week of flower. Your plants are pretty much fully developed at this point and your going to chop the plant soon anyway. So I wouldn’t worry too much about it and just continue with your flush and have a great harvest 🤙

Plain water is all you need and in normal quantities, no need to drown your plants. No need for anything extra in the last 2 weeks of maturation, all growth has stopped and all that is happening is ripening/maturing. Giving just plain water will bring out the best and most natural flavours. To me, your pictures show a very ripe plant already and I don't think waiting another 2 weeks will be necessary.
