Hi, guys. Still growing too slow :((. Have trouble with coco. Started watering every day with runoff 20%. Water is PH 5.5 and PPM 200. Measurements of runoff are PH 6.5-6.6 and PPM 700-900. How can I stabilize PH to 5.5-6.0 ??? help guys :) Thank you...

First thing is you have to decide are you doing a hydro grow (the best) or a soil grow with coco (not the best). Dr MJ Coco has a book on amazon read it today, if you want to grow a lot of canna. Right off small plant in a big pot slows growth badly. Secondly and this is why you have to decide, throw runoff PH right out the window for hydro. Its just not a factor. Your PPM for runoff is saying it needs to be fertigated more often, if its hydro, if its not hydro throw that right out the window. You have to choose a course.

If you always only add 200 PPM water and it comes out 700-900PPM it means there is nutrients in the coco that gets flushed out and they most probably are from your previous waterings (If you did not pre ammend the coco somehow) and the plant have not used it all. So when water dries the nutrients will build up as salts in the soil and dissolve again when watered again. Also when there is a change in pH in this case it most probably mean that those dissolved nutrients have raised it.

you don't have to adjust the runoff ph,it is just showing how's inside the pot. higher ph than your nutrient solution means no lockout, everything is smooth. if you see runoff ph between 5.5-6 then you'll probably need to flush the coco because higher excess of nutes in the pot makes the ph drop.you wouldn't want that. no need for runoff with a bigger pot and smaller plant like this. don't aim for runoff for now, just increase the ppm of solution a little bit more and watch it growing

Hey rinse them through with pH 5.5, but you do not have to pay too much attention to what comes out below, too many go crazy with it :-)

by adding a buffer to lower the ph. If you google search lowering ph you can find a number of solutions. If I tell you what I use.. PH down by green planet nutrients.. Someone else will say they just use lemon juice... Or some other solution.. But you understand what I am getting at.
