Soil amending

This 20 gallon pot is Fox Forest soil heavily amended. There are 3 plants growing and doing great. I want to plant new plants where the clover is growing as soon as these finish. My plan is to slowly add amended soil to the top. Will this work? Will the next round be successful?

hey there Dr , well, you dont need to add the soil slowly, just add it all to completely cover the clovers and they'll die and start decomposing immediately. usually you want to wait a few weeks to make super soil, but if you're adding amended soil, you'll be good to right away, does that make sense? hope this helps ! πŸš€

Hello in my opinion leave it like this because if you add plants where the clover is your older plants will make too much shadow for your new babie. More it is not good to put too much plants in the same contener because each plant needs a lot of space for roots and if there is not enough space they will struggle and suffocate. It will be better to put your new plant in an other contener. Now if you want to try you can but you will have to look that newer plants got enough light and space for roots. Good luck. Peace
