The insides of a small number of future bud sites ...

The insides of a small number of future bud sites are showing some strange purple discoloration. My initial thought was that this could somehow be mold however under the microscope it is very purple. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (see images week 11)

Theres nothing to worry about here friend , this could be due to a variety of things weather or genetics , its hard to tell but I can assure you that your plant is fine and that the purple will grow and grow and it will turn out beautiful . If it was mold it would be stringy and white puffy almost . shes looking happy and fine ! I hope this sheds some light into your grow !

Definitely due to large difference between day time and night time temps! Though no harm is done to your plants and it isn't a sign of any kind of deficiency or toxicity... look to have a couple weeks added to your flowering time due to the extreme temperature flux. It will surely slow down ur growth.

Due to temperature differences around 10°C from day to colder nights some plants start to change their colour to purple. The green pigments break down and opens the way for the lilac anthocyanin to come thru. It is normally hidden by the pigments of the chlorophyll. This is just a way for plants to cope with lower temperatures while maintaining the best rate of photosynthesis (like trees do when autumn arrives). Happy growing! 🌿😊✌️

Hey brother most of time this is straight up genetics that is defenitely some sweet looking leaves . The other would be that anything under 60 degrees can bring out the purple in certain strains not all of them ..your girls look very healthy so I would say that it is the genetics ,did the buds you got seed from have purple or can u find out if the grower I know that ain't easy can tell you if the purple is normal from the strain might be a long shot..cheer from Canada ..

Hey there are 2 things that can cause the purple. The first is your strain might have some purple in the genetics. The other is cold weather at night below 60f can cause phosphorous lock out at the roots which will make the leaves turn purple. I have had a few sativas that run late into the cold season that developed purple from lockout but yours look brighter purple so I would think it is most likey genetics. Good luck with them
