Hey So for germinating seeds I have tried a few different methods and found one what works out well. I like the scarification method with a light soaking of 12hrs then directly in the medium. No transplanting from towels, no root damage, ez pz. If you want more info about it send me a DM and I'll get into the details of it all. I'm not a huge fan of paper town as the seeds baby taproot can be easily damaged if its not taken care of. Sometimes it grows into the paper towel as well. Your really should plant the seeds in the medium before any roots emerge and form just as they are cracked. As for the Jiffy pellets I do not like them either, I've had bad experiences in the past multiple times with many different plants not just cannabis inside them. Your seedlings baby roots could have been damaged when they went into the pellet, if that's what happened the plant may not make it. I also find Jiffy pellets mould way to easily vs other methods. I'd still wait a few days and open up the humidity vents on that shell, constant high humidity in any medium with no airflow will cause moulds to develop and kill the seedlings. Rule of thumb as soon as they pop remove them from the dome. after 5-7 days your seeds are probably gone. open the pod and see if they can be rescued or found. Best of Luck and Happy Growing.

@barb420, that new setup sounds like it should help out. We will have to see how to plays out in time. Hopefully the wedding cakes have popped up by now or maybe just one of them. Best Of Luck

@Barb420 how deep did you plant them after they popped? and have you been overwatering? Lately I had trouble with germinating seeds by giving them too much moisture after the paper towel method which was causing them to "dampen off" which is the root turns brown and the seed doesn't fully germinate and eventually dies. As soon as I stopped overwatering them I started to get an almost 100% germination rate Hope this helps mate

Probably won’t pop but give em some more days. Highly recommend not using jiffy pellets.. SO many issues on this site I’ve seen because of them. Go directly to substrate or use rockwool or rapid rooters even..

I do not use the paper towel method. It is easy to over water and then it is very easy to damage the tender tap root when planting. I find it more reliable to soak the seed for 24 hours and plant it. Looking at your photos everything is soaking wet. If the sprout got planted without damage it is possibly rotting. The jiffy pods look soaking wet, the towel underneath is dripping, you've got them under a humidity dome with max humidity and the temperature is high, not terrible but I would not let it get any warmer. Your fan is not doing anything. It is blowing on the plastic humidity cover so it's not accomplishing anything. Also, you don't need both germination lights and your main grow light.

Those jiffys are too wet bro, open the hole gently in order to help them to get out if they are still alive. Good luck 👊🏽🍀

Since none of the Wedding Cheescakes are yet popped I would recommend to wait just a little longer. Since their in Jiffy Cubes can you see any roots forming? Happy growing!
