Info on watering seedlings

Hey guys, i’m doing my first grow ever (set up is in my diary if you’re curious). My one real question is how much water should i be giving freshly germinated and planted seedlings? I planted them yesterday morning, they are in peat pellets in 5gallon pots. Looking for ballpark

Hello. First that is a huge pot for a seedling.. next time maybe consider starting in a smaller pot and this will allow your root structure to develop in a more controlable environment. As for watering all you need for a seedling is to keep the soil around her moist. You don't want to make all the substrate wet as the young plant won't use that much water as your pot will hold. Just keep the area around the stem damp as needed. Never too wet but never let her completely dry out either. Good luck.
