Chow_13answered grow question 3 years ago Yes, You can jar your buds as early as 2 days. But you have to make sure you keep track of the humidity in the jars. I find that when I hang my buds in 20C temp with a humidity of 40% it takes around 4-5 days before I jar them. But my outdoor which is in flucutating temps that range between 5-15C and humidity is usually in the 60-80% that time of year they will hang for around 2 weeks before I jar them. If you bend the stem and it snaps but does not break Is what I find it ideal. I like to jar a little on the wetter side and monitor.
I bought little humidity sensors that go in the jar with my bud. I check and do accordingly every day
If humidity is
70% or higher I put buds in a paper bag for 1h and then re jar
65%+ Put buds in paper bag for 10 min then re-jar
62%+ Remove buds into paper bag wave jar around, place buds back in.( I find removing does less damage then shaking jar to loosen buds ) Other method would be shake jar to loosen buds and leave jar open for 5 min then reseal.
61-62 Same as above but only do it every other day.
60 Same but every 3 days
As soon as I get a 59 or less I leave sealed for 2 weeks. then put buds in a paper bag for 1h and then re jar (I like my buds more on the dryer side) and leave sealed for 1 week. Then my curing process is complete and I vacuum seal and store in the fridge..
