You can see in my day 26 photos that the top new grow are clawing downwards. Tips are showing a bit of nutrient burn. What is going on? N tox? Is the strain that is picky?
It does look like some N tox to me,
If your PPM numbers are correct 800 might be a bit to much for them at this point.
I'd try lowering your feed down a bit and allow it to use up what its got. Could be locking out some other stuff.
Good Luck and Happy Growing.
I adjusted the reservoirs to 650ppm, going to see how they adjust to that. Still going to run 24/7 lights. Increased RH a bit in the tent (60-65 RH) and they seem less crispy with that. If I still have a bunch of clawing, then I will flush with water in a few days and we will all know that I messed up :D
Heat burn with nitrogen toxicity. Slow down second, raise your lights a bit. Few pure water waterings and back on feed . she will be massive.
All the best !!!
@FeedAnGrow hi mate first thing that comes to my mind is that you are running them on a non stop
light cycle this may be putting the plants in stress
I know people do grow under these conditions but I am of the belief that all plants do much better
with at least 4 hours of darkness as it allows the plant much needed time to rest and recover from any
problems it may have
If you think that the plant has had too much feed then by all means flush her thru with some plain water and remix the nutrients at a lower level
added point I forgot.
You may want to give your plants a rest period.
24/0 going into flower is ruff for the plants. 18/6 for a week or two is a good option before switching to 12/12
I only like to do 24/7 for the first few weeks.
Up to you man.. it’s probably more so that strain is a little bit more N sensitive.. but still next time you change out res I would go with little to no cal mag.
If you wanna knock it down a bit that’s not a bad idea.. try down to 700-750 maybe in that range
Reservoir at 70F, 5.8 pH, 800ppm.
Tray 71F, 6.1 pH, 800ppm.
Airpots are pumping air 24/7 with lights.
Ambient tent temps: 73F and ~55% RH
Leaf temps: 70F for lower plants, 72F for taller ones.
Yeah that would be the conclusion I come to as well..
That canna coco line has plenty of calcium and magnesium for your coco already.. so adding that 5ml of calmag is overkill in my book. It also has extra Nitrogen in it which is probably where the issue is originating.
I’d cut the calmag out and see how she responds.
Granted it is just one plant showing it so maybe it is a bit temperamental.
Good luck 👍!
