Please help. Last plant died exactly like this. Yellowing drying leaves from the bottom on all fan leaves while shoots get stunted / eventually affected.

Transp recently from 1g > 5g. Seemed ok at first day after (no wat) then leaves started rapidly yellowing / drooping. Tent is fairly small 40x40x120. Could it be the heat ? Also took out humidifier but still in same room tent vents. Is Canna Pro Plus watered between 5.8-6.2 ph ?

Turnes out the temps inside the tent were 31C. Using a hand held thermometer I was only taking the temp of the room and assuming tent temps were the same so left it inside the temp and got a good reading. Took out the CFLs which were unnecessary and adding the extra heat. She seems to be recovering.

Hey friend,Always remember to let your soil dry before you do anything or each watering. And also you can’t dramatically change your soil pH with one or two flush. It will take very long to adjust your desired run off.For me, I always stick with my pH around 6.5 for soil and 6.0 for soilless.Happy growing... ✌️

How do I measure run off without overwatering ? To get runoff in the current 5g container I would have to use way more water than she needs and potentially waterlog / stress her even more. I never watered her to runoff bc of the risk of overwatering (it sounds counter intuitive that you would need to flush nutrients out of the medium especially when I haven't been overfertilizing, which is exactly how the last grow / same plant died) hence unless I do a straight flush (which I'm not even remotely sure is what it needs) I could risk doing irreparable damage.

You need to check run off ph not just what's going in. Your water can have a ph of 6.5 but the ph at the roots could be higher then 7 lower then 6 because you have problems. Most likely do to salt build up maybe soil your using ph is way out of whack. Flush with plain ph water continue feed shedule

Hey friend,Your plant have Nitrogen deficiency. Plant uses alot of nitrogen in vegetative stage.Nitrogen is the main source for their photosynthesis. But over use will cause Nitrogen Toxicity in flowering stage. So I recommend you to add some nitrogen fertilizer with small dosage.I would also say maintain your water pH around 6.5 whenever you water. And last thing avoid watering your plant or leaves if not necessary.Keep in mind these things together you will have a monster plant.Happy growing... 💪 ✌️

It seems to me like a nitrogen deficiency. Nitrogen is a vital element in the formation of chlorophyll. When the plant becomes nitrogen deficient it begins catabolizing nitrogen from the older lower leaves. You can also tell it is nitrogen deficiency because your top leaves are becoming more lime green. The opposite would happen with nitrogen toxicity, the leaves would turn dark green and possibly curl down. The good news is that most growers cut off those bottom leaves anyways so go ahead and cut them off so. Go ahead and feed 1/4 to half strength veg nutes. Increase the nutrient dosage in 2 weeks. Make sure you PH your nutrient solution to 6.5. The reason behind this is when the plants use the nutrients the PH of the soil drops, normally only .5 down but can drop a level lower. So to maintain soil PH I found 6.5 is the magic number. Also Ph your runoff this will give you a good idea on what PH your feed water should be.

Hey thanks for the input. Yes it's Canna Terra Pro Plus but it says on the bag it is ph'd to 5.8 - 6.2 (I suppose because it is not really soil but a soilless medium ?) so I'm wondering if that is the range I should ph my water / feeds to ? I have been feeding nutes once a week (3ml/l max) so don't think it's lack of N (and also transplanted recently in new ferted soil / the same Canna Terra Pro Plus). Could I be underwatering now that there is 5x the soil in the small tent ? I have a feeling now that there is more soil and I'm still watering at the same amount I did before, the soil will absorb the water at a way faster rate and therefore dry quicker bc of it being toastier in the tent. I'm sayimg this bc I also installed the carbon filter just one day before the transplant.

Hey friend , I’m not sure wich substrate you talking about but if it’s Canna Terra Pro plus , it’s soil and you should water in a different range pH of water like 6,5-7. The problem on your plants seems like N deficiency wich is normal cause N is absorbed by the roots in higher Ph levels Hope this helped ✌️
