Weekly feeding and watering

Do you see any runoff after watering? You want to make sure you're getting at least 10-15% of the water you put into the plant, to come out of the plant as runoff. If you're not seeing any runoff with 1L, then all the nutrients you're adding are being stored in the pot. This will eventually lead to salt buildup on your roots and then root death. As long as you're seeing a bit of runoff after watering, you should be good.
