Benzelsanswered grow question 3 years ago Wait, you cured them first then put them in jars? im confused. Anyways, u judge how dry they are by the stems, doesnt matter how crispy the outside gets. When the smaller stems snap but the bigger ones bend thats when its ready and dry enough to go into jars to start the curing process. In saying that- I often cure some of my buds in shoe boxes for a few weeks after drying them, I dont open them, just line them with paper, and place a few oz of buds in each box (2-4 oz) and shut box up and leave it in a cool room for two weeks, then jar it up. I dont have time to burp a pound or mores worth of bud daily.
The moisture in your stems has gone out into the bud. U didnt dry it long enough before jaring up. prob needed 2-4 more days.
