9 max, 3 min, 6 middle ground. Not all plants do well with SCROG. could do 16 smaller pots and sea of green too, pack them right in there. I plan on testing this out in my mini tent, a 2x4. Good Luck!

Id go one plant per sq ft max, so 9 plants, as more pots/plants just = more work and more probs and expenses. Each seed costs how much again? Plus cost of pots and media, If u can get away with less plants for same yield then do so- makes life easier not having to buy and germinate 12 seeds each grow. Man that would get expensive fast huh?

i run in sog 4x2 8 plant 6l pot in 90x60 so i suggest either: 3x3 9 plants 7 to 9 l pots either 4x4 12 plants 6l pot

Hey Growmie, The recommended spacing for a SOG is 1 plant per square foot. or, no more than 2 plants per square foot max depending on the strain and individual size. Depending on how much space the roots have and substrate will play a big role. I have grown 1 auto in coco in a 3 gallon fabric potter that fills the whole space. So if like 1 gallon potters I would think 6 to 9 plants. If in coco. Hard to say for sure without more precise details.
