Just remember, not all seeds will germinate, no matter the method, some are just duds. They can also take up to 7 days to germinate, the phase of the moon can have a big bearing on this, believe it or not. I always germinate between the New Moon and the Full Moon, that is, first and second quarter, and experiments I have done have proved this to be the most fertile period and repeatable, year after year, as I have been germinating at this time period for 30+ years.

hey my first time growing and this is the germination method i did and i had every single seed pop and also sprout from soil....whole method from seed to sprouted from soil took about 4-5 days...but like i said every seed succesfully sprouted from the dirt.... 1st step- take your seeds and soak them in a cup of water for 48 hours.....place the cup in a dark dry are like above ur fridge or in a cupboard. 2nd step- after 24 hours if you see any seeds floating gently tap them or poke them with your finger they should drop to the bottom of the cup of water try using spring or mineral water and ...all of mine did...if they dont just leave it. 3rd step- after 48 hours or even earlier if you notice a tap root coming out of the majority of your seeds take them and transfer them to a ceramic plate with a wet paper towel place the seeds on the wet paper towel spread out and cover with another wet paper towel the paper towels should be wet but there should be no excess water on the plate under the towels... 4th step- all seeds should pop after 48 hours in wet paper towel....take your pot or what ever your planting them in and moisten the dirt so its moist not wet take a pen and poke a hole in your pot for the seed hole should be as deep as maybe to the first line on your finger from the tip and plant the seed..... 5th step-your seed should sprout from the dirt in 24-72 hours....

Soaking the seeds for 12-24 hrs is always good. 12 hrs for newer seeds 24 hrs for older seeds. Best of luck the rest of the way.
