Anyone else grown devil cream and not had any purple what so ever? If it was going to change surely I’d have a slight tinge by now?

If you get true purple phenos, they start going purple right from the onset of flowering. The Devil Cream I grew had purple calyxes from day one of flowering. It should be purple and I would drop Sweet Seeds a line asking about this, but unless the seeds you got came in the breeders pack, you probably won't have much of an argument. Either way, they might be interested to hear about it in case it was a particular batch of seeds. With Devil Creams parents being Dark Devil and Black Cream, you would think purple would be a no-brainer. However, Dark Devil is a cross between a green mother and a purple father, so it could just be a throwback to recessive genes. Anyhow, colour does not affect potency and your buds will still be delicious, even though they are green! Hope this helps, Organoman.

It won’t be purple. You have one of the few phenos that doesn’t convert. It happens! I bet the next see will be purple.

Hi, It would start showing at start of flowering by other diaries I see. Some of them will grow green and some will grow purple, it is as it is. You can try checking the Purpinator product. It says it's supposed to bring out the purple hues but it's to be used from the start I think.

That stuff can be hit or miss, and sometimes doesn't present until the very end. you could 'force' the leaves to show some autumn colors, but won't change color of buds much from what i know... let temps at night drop below 68F... won't take much. you'll see coloration in leaves within a few days, probably. i doubt it is a catalyst for the genetic trait you are expecting, though.
